MBC’s variety show “Good Day” aired its June 6 episode without a single trace of Kim Soo-hyun, confirming that the actor has been entirely edited out amid growing public controversy.

The episode, which continued the show’s celebrity personal item auction and the group track recording session, featured highlights such as Hong Jin-kyung’s gua sha tool and Ahn Sung-jae’s knife drawing high bids. The finale item, a playful “G-Dragon Voucher,” promised the winner a chance to collaborate with the star, or even request cockroach extermination. G-Dragon ultimately awarded the voucher to aespa, earning cheers from the girl group.

The program also debuted its official group song, “Telepathy,” performed by City Boys. Excitement ran high as G-Dragon began brainstorming the track with input from the cast. On recording day, Code Kunst, Im Si-wan, Hwang Kwang-hee, Jung Hae-in, Jo Se-ho, and DAY6 took part, with CL making a surprise appearance.

Notably, Kim Soo-hyun, who was previously seated at the center during the group’s auction meeting, was entirely absent from the broadcast. Footage of him was removed through deliberate editing, and he did not participate in the “88ers” group recording session.

The decision follows public outrage stemming from allegations that Kim had a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron during her underage years. Although he addressed the claims in a formal press conference, public sentiment remains largely critical, and his appearance on the show has since been erased.

As the controversy unfolds, “Good Day” appears to be distancing itself from the embattled actor, raising questions about his future broadcast appearances.
